people have been asking me to update my blog. they want to know whats going on in my life. i guess ive been hesitant to update because im almost embarrassed by what i have to say. first of all i have to tell all of you i love portland. i love living with my sister, nephew, and brother in law. its great fun! also i have an awesome job at a bakery. i get to bake breads and cookies all day and i honestly love it. i work about four days a week and even though i start at 5:30 i still love it.
school started about four weeks ago. i was so pumped and ready for this. after school started i quickly realized it wasnt what i thought it was going to be. i began to question myself. is this really what i want to do? do i really want to go into a ton of debt for something im unsure of? i still love to bake but just so unsure. the program is set up into four different terms. you can always stop after a term and pick it up later. thats what ive decided to do. i finished up my first term and now im taking a break and trying to figure things out. i know it sounds pathetic. janet moved to portland to work at a bakery? im currently applying for other jobs with more hours. yes, my future looks a little blank and very unsure right now. i guess ill just have to wait and see what happens.

You work at a bakery?!? That's awesome!! I would get so fat working somewhere like that. Good thing you are a lot better with stuff like that than I am.

I'm sure you'll figure out everything soon. If not, at least you have a place to live and a part-time job! Enjoy it while you can!

I finally had time to check blogs! Girl, you'll figure it out. I think it's awesome that you followed a lead in the first place of something you thought you might want to do! If you DO decide that you don't want to be a chef, you can say it for sure because you tried it! Miss you! We should chat soon.
