change is hard for me. really hard. ive been in phoenix for about 24 hours and i already miss my family. im already doubting my decision about moving here. i know i need to give it time. in time i will learn to love it here. ill make friends, like my job, enjoy my ward, and so on. but as of right now all i want to do is drive back to washington and never leave. dont worry im not going to do anything that crazy. i start my job tomorrow. i will keep you all updated!

Janet, the beginning is always the hardest. Once you get going with work and get into a routine it'll get better. Just make sure you take time to enjoy that sunshine before it gets too hot.
I always had a hard time with change too (I cried until Thanksgiving when I went to BYU) but now I am good at it! Weakness' become strengths - you'll be ok. It will get better when you have a permanent place to stay!
Change will make you stronger and it can be a good thing. I hope you like your job and have a good first day. I am so excited for you. You get to come and visit in less than a month! Yeah!
moving stinks that really all I have to say. Yes, it does get better but at first it stinks big time! We love you!
We miss you too Janet. But I am sure in time you will love it. I am the same way when it comes to change, it is totally overrated.
i think i am not a fan of change. And yet, I have to keep realizing that I am -- i like seasons and new tv shows and produce when it comes into season....keep your chin up Janet. I suggest you read "Who Moved My Cheese" -- it is a super quick read (it will probably take you 20 minutes)....just go to a bookstore and sit & read it. A good perspective for us to remember. :)
